How did it all start?
About Us
Solve24 was founded by Rasha, Maya and Lara, 3 tech- enthusiasts women that joined forces to make a difference.
We met in Silicon Valley back in 2017 where we were chosen along another 100 women to participate in TechWomen17 – a 5-week mentorship program that empowers, connects and supports the next generation of women leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East.
During the program, we had the chance to explore the STEAM scene in the United States, and got inspired by the innovation-driven culture. We were lucky enough to work on an “Impact Project” over there and quickly realized that with our combined set of skills, interests, and expertise we can easily replicate this initiative in our hometown, Lebanon.
And so we set to it and created Solve24.
With the constant help of our mentors from Silicon Valley, our purpose is to inspire, motivate and guide the youth in our country to push boundaries, think innovatively and contribute to their community.
